Accommodations

We have a limited amount of hotel rooms blocked at Hockley Valley Resort that are available for our guests to book.

The hotel block is reserved until April 25, 2026 or until sold out.

Please call the resort reservation desk at (519) 942-0754 and advise them that you are booking as part of the Caitlin Smith/Chris Cocker room block to complete your reservation. (Note you cannot book on the website).

If you are planning to stay at an alternate location (not Hockley Valley Resort), please reference the Location Page for details about the location of the venue, and the Transportation Page for details about how to access the shuttle or pre-arrange a taxi.

Transportation

Courtesy transportation will be provided from Hockley Valley Resort to the venue, as well as from the venue back to Hockley Valley Resort at the end of the night. See the Transportation Page for the shuttle schedule.

For any guests who are planning to drive themselves or stay at other hotels in the area, please plan to park at Hockley Valley Resort and take the courtesy shuttle to and from the venue, or ensure you pre-plan transportation in advance as on demand car services (Ubers/Taxis) are not widely available in the area. You can find recommended car services on the Transportation Page.

Dress Code

Dress Code

The dress code is Garden Formal, which means that it is a formal occasion with a Garden theme. We want our day to be as colourful and elegant as the setting!

For the Ladies: Floor-length dresses; flowy fabrics, floral patterns, and bright summer hues are highly encouraged.

For the Gentlemen: A formal suit is requested. Feel free to lean into the theme with lighter suit colors.

A Note on Footwear: Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be held on the lawn—we recommend block heels, wedges or flat shoes over stilettos for your comfort.

Daytime temperatures typically range from 20*C to 25*C; however, it is not uncommon for temperatures to cool off into the evening and drop into the low teens between 12*C to 15*C.

Please refrain from wearing denim.

Little Details

While we would love to include so many more people in our celebration, we can only accommodate guests that are named on the invitation.

We have chosen to keep our wedding a child-free event, and we appreciate those who are arranging child care to celebrate with us!

We will have designated smoking areas established to ensure fire safety for all of our guests, these will be clearly identified on the day of the event and we ask that you please only smoke in these areas. Smoking alternatives can be enjoyed property-wide.
